Infant Carrying Made Easy With Lugbug

How have I made it this far without a lugbug handle?! Especially on a weekend like this past one. Our days consisted of errands on errands on…you get the picture. Among the chaos we received some happy mail – our brand new lugbug handle! The handle is a universal device with a simple click and twist installation, making carrying an infant seat less awkward and easier than ever before.

Baby girl is now eleven months old and although not at the maximum weight limit of her infant car seat, she has reached the maximum height. Given that her ‘big girl’ car seat has been purchased, the days of the infant car seat are numbered.

Last Summer was incredibly challenging for me. I am a home body. A homebody with a newborn makes for hermit status. I was adamant to get out of my comfort zone and be independent with baby while my husband worked. We had many little coffee dates – me, baby and everything but the kitchen sink. Those of you living in the South know all too well, our Summers are not only hot, they are humid. The sweaty act of lifting the seat in and out of the car, on and off of the stroller all while being mindful of my c-section incision was intense.

I wish, back then, I had a lugbug. I’m sure I was a sight for sore eyes. I could be seen flailing about with my seat, bag and stroller while trying to balance a coffee on top of it all. The handle minimizes strain on the wrist, forearm and shoulder making for a more ergonomic and safer carry. And for parents this gives us the ability to carry everything else we need. I’m definitely that ‘one trip only’ person!

If I have any negative sentiment about the lugbug handle, it is only that I didn’t get to maximize my own use of it. Oh well, that just means I need ten more babies!
